It’s been growing wild for months with the goal of being long enough for a ponytail by the time we made landfall. I think it’s safe to say that he achieved his goal. I was also able to french braid it which looked very pretty but it reached a point a few days ago where it was too hot, too funny to look at, and too tempting for me to cut off.
We’re in Rotoava, the village at the north end of Fakarava, and have found our first wifi hotspot in two weeks. I will post pictures when I get the chance…. For now, some important ones:
